April Stakeholder Engagement Webinars

The Joint Utilities of New York thank those who virtually attended one or both of the stakeholder engagement webinars in April. These webinars were a part of our continued stakeholder engagement effort we are facilitating as part of our implementation plans based on commitments in the Supplemental Distribution System Implementation Plan (SDSIP), filed November 1st, 2016 under the NY REV Proceeding. If you weren’t able to join a session, the recordings are posted below.

Goals for 2017 stakeholder engagement include: inform stakeholders of implementation progress, solicit feedback on implementation progress and achieve alignment for moving forward, and incorporate stakeholder input into implementation plans where applicable.

For more information on the stakeholder engagement group meetings by topic, please visit our Stakeholder Engagement page.

The Q&A sessions addressed questions received in advance plus those received during the webinar through the chat function. If you have questions additional questions that were not covered during the webinar, please email info@jointutilitiesofny.org.

Thank You

The Joint Utilities of New York would like to thank all the participants who joined us for our stakeholder engagement sessions in 2016 to help inform our Supplemental Distributed System Implementation Plan filing under the NY REV Proceeding. Presentation material, summaries of the Q/A sessions* and the audio recordings are below.

The Joint Utilities of New York hosted a webinar that provided a detailed overview of the stakeholder engagement process carried out to help inform the filing of the Supplemental Distributed System Implementation Plan under the NY REV Proceeding. The JU also outlined opportunities for stakeholders to engage in the effort.

To begin the process of engaging stakeholders around the issues under consideration in the Supplemental DSIP filing, on February 29, 2016, the Joint Utilities of New York held an informational forum at the Con Edison Learning Center in New York.  The forum was focused on covering the basics of distribution system planning, the key differences among utility systems that affect planning, a high level assessment of utility capital investment planning, and some of the next steps that the Joint Utilities propose for engaging with stakeholders on the issues within the Supplemental DSIP.
