This list includes self-verified licensed contractors that are eligible to provide services under the Joint Utilities’ EV charger installation programs. Light-Duty Make-Ready projects are required to work with approved contractors; installations for the residential managed charging programs and the Medium- and Heavy-Duty Make-Ready Pilot are not required to be performed by approved contractors, but customers may refer to the list as a resource.
Contractors seeking to be added to the list for either of the programs should fill out the application. Customers looking to hire a contractor should review the program descriptions to determine what services are needed.

- EV Make-Ready Program
Commercial, multi-unit, and other larger-scale EV charger installations may be eligible for the Joint Utilities’ EV Make-Ready incentive. To find a contractor, use the checkboxes below to select your utility, and filter for Commercial installations.
To qualify for an incentive under the Make-Ready Program, customers must work with an electrical contractor who appears on this list.

- Residential Managed Charging Program
Eligible residential customers can enroll in their utility’s Managed Charging Program to take advantage of incentives and other discounts for charging at the most beneficial time for the grid. If you are a residential customer interested in installing an EV charger at your home, connect with your utility to learn about eligible equipment. To find a contractor, use the checkboxes below to select your utility and filter for Residential Contractors.
For the Managed Charging Program, you are not required to use a contractor that appears on this list. Many electricians and electrical contractors perform individual EV installations at single-unit homes. For more options for contractors, you can visit home improvement directory sites like HomeAdvisor and Porch. Both of these websites also include tips and best practices for finding and working with electricians.
